Increasing torque through the entire powerband.Enhancing fuel efficiency through all RPM ranges.Increasing horsepower by improving fuel and timing maps.An ECU Flash can help maximize your outboard engine performance by: ECU Flashing – ECU Flashing is the process by whereby your outboard ECU can be re-programmed to in order to reach the maximum performance of the engine. The best part is all weighs in at 330 pounds lighter than Yamaha’s 425HP V8.Īs south Florida’s only fully licensed Nizpro Marine dealer, our Nizpro services include: With its quiet, game-changing performance, powerful acceleration and improved fuel efficiency at normal cruising speeds, you can think of it as having the torque of a diesel coupled with the responsiveness of gas. Recently described by industry analysts as “both spellbinding and brilliant,” the Nizpro 450s Yamaha V6 will give you incredible confidence in your boat. If you want to own the most powerful, fuel-efficient, six-cylinder outboard on the planet, Fort Myers Marine has you covered! I would really love to see Olivier(BE) come through with a 900r tune but not holding breath on anyone coming out with a tune unless they take the route PEFI has to avoid the encryption, or simply go to a standalone which IMO may be a wiser choice simply from a resale point of view, while more money initially I assume you can remove and sell the standalone when selling your sled and put sled back to stock ECU.Įither way the more tuners getting into the 900r game will only help us, the consumer with more choice.Fort Myers Marine is your Nizpro Marine headquarters. I decided last year when I ordered my Mach to buy only one year warranty and take the rebate, since I felt I would want to tune it, so warranty is not a concern, but for most cutting out the chip would(i assume) toss your warranty out. I did like hearing that the BRP ECU will still be able to be put onto BUDS by any dealer and read it normally ect. I was told this many weeks ago and this video seems to confirm it. Early on we heard about these new ECUs for the 900r and their incredibly hi/Super car level encryption.also early on I had been told PEFI actually opens the ECU and "cuts out" or removes the encryption chip altogether. I will keep an open mind to all tunes as I would like more power, but the route PEFI is taking does concern me abit. Nothing to do with break in(chip) as was talked about for so long, IMO there is no chip or management via ECU for the first 2 tankfuls or whatever else was talked about early on. Most 4s sleds I have owned all have done this, need miles to loosen them up. And now with 1600+ miles on odometer we both feel the 900r has finally begun to loosen up to where she is working much better. It has the snap and strong pull down there that the bone stock 998 was lacking. Bottom and mid, corner to corner I really like my Mach alot. I know myself along with many here want more power, and for me i would love to feel more jam on the big end. I follow PEFI on YT and just saw this video posted, so thought I would post it here for the guys.
